About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

BEFORE THE WORLD TURNED UPSIDE DOWN…

Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy… and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, this gripping new adventure will take you right back to the beginning of the Stranger Things story – and may hold the key to the end.

‘Into The Upside Down’ - Stranger Things The TV Show

Stranger Things first premiered on Netflix in 2016, following a group of young friends in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980’s. The friends uncover a supernatural conspiracy, involving government experimentation, alternate dimensions, and dangerous monsters.

The series is heavily inspired by the sci-fi and horror films of the ‘80s, with critics calling it an ‘addictive homage to Spielberg films and vintage 1980s television’ (Rotten Tomatoes). The series broke multiple Netflix viewership records and has a dedicated fanbase across the world.

Given its incredible popularity the Stranger Things franchise has completely exploded. Fans can now enjoy show-themed merchandise, novels, comics, Lego sets, video games, an immersive experience, and even a roller-coaster!
