A Tribute To One Of The Best-Selling Artists Of All Time

Tina - The Tina Turner Musical follows the life and career of Tina Turner and how she became the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Born Anna Mae Bullock in Nutbush, Tennessee, Turner released incredible hits like ‘Proud Mary’, ‘Nutbush City Limits’, ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’, and ‘Simply The Best’.

Turner was a frequent record breaker, breaking the then-Guinness World Record for the largest paying audience for a solo performer in 1988. She also sold more than 100 million records worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling recording artists of all time. She received 12 Grammy Awards, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, 3 Grammy Hall of Fame inductions, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, won a Women of the Year award, and has her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was the first black artist and the first woman to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. The movie based on her autobiography I, Tina garnered Best Actress and Actor nominations for Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne.

Turner sadly passed away in May 2023 from natural causes, and Tina - The Tina Turner Musical aims to keep her memory alive and celebrate her with every performance!
